Books and theories

Blah, so very sick at the moment. Going to not move all day. That would make me very happy.

Spent the last couple of hours reading debates on myspace.com about the existance of psionic vampires and the arthurian legends (different debates) and now my mind hurts from the stupidity of some of the people. On all sides of the arguments. Put in my own theories on the Arthur/Merlin debate, but didn't touch the psionic vampire one. Figured no matter what I said it would be insulting someone.

Bought a new book by a fantasy author I haven't read before but have been intending to read for a while, Robert Jordon. Very excited for it. Read the sixth Harry Potter book in about 5 hours yesterday (7 non-consecutive hours in which I did other stuff, figured it condensed into 5). I won't post any spoilers on it. But I will say while not horribly dissapointed, I wasn't impressed either. I found it predictable, but entertaining. So it was good. Excited for the seventh to see how it all ends.

Spent way too much time going out last week. But had a lot of fun. John's 21st was a success in the way where he got really really drunk. Which is all that is required of a 21st. I'm still proud of myself that I've never been so drunk I can't take care of myself, even when really bad I've always managed to know when to find a toliet. And hey, go me for taking care of two really drunk friends last week. Even if I had help with one. So earned good karma points.

Very excited for Chicago.
